1. Identification and purpose

These Terms govern access to the Cerrado Coffee Carbon institutional website available at www.cccarbon.com.br. By accessing the website, you acknowledge these conditions.

Cerrado Coffee Carbon is a technology program developed and currently operated by Murilo Marques Ferreira da Silva, an individual based in Araguari, Minas Gerais, Brazil.

Murilo Marques Ferreira da Silva is an Agronomic Engineering student at Instituto Master de Ensino Presidente Antônio Carlos, IMEPAC. The program's technical development uses documented scientific and institutional references, including methods and guidance applicable to greenhouse gas inventories in coffee production.

Scope of the academic identification

The reference to IMEPAC identifies the developer's academic background. It does not represent an institutional relationship with the program or validation, approval, sponsorship, or endorsement by the educational institution.

2. Product stage

The platform is being prepared for a controlled pilot. The interfaces shown are demonstrations and use fictional data. Features, journeys, integrations, criteria, and conditions may be adjusted during technical, operational, and legal validation.

Internal technical checks conducted to date are not equivalent to field validation, certification, or independent audit, nor do they represent approval or endorsement by IMEPAC or any scientific, methodological, or market institution.

The content does not constitute a binding commercial proposal, contract, public offering, legal, financial, agronomic, or environmental advice, promise of revenue, guarantee of savings, investment solicitation, or guarantee of a transaction.

3. The role of Cerrado Coffee Carbon

The platform is designed to help cooperatives organize producers, farms, plots, harvests, field data, inventories, responsibilities, documents, monitoring, agreements, and evidence.

The platform may prepare information and dossiers for review, but organized records do not, by themselves, mean that a product is low carbon or that an eligible, certified, issued, or tradable carbon credit exists.

4. External and independent processes

Through this landing page, Cerrado Coffee Carbon does not act as a validation and verification body, certification body, issuing registry, exchange, custodian, financial intermediary, or guarantor of credits.

Depending on the pathway selected, carbon credit projects may require an applicable methodology, complete and reliable field data, ownership and authorizations, additionality, permanence, reversal risk management, prevention of double counting, independent validation and verification, an external registry, and other applicable requirements.

Validation and verification are performed by the competent independent body, often referred to as a Validation and Verification Body, or VVB. Issuance depends on acceptance by the applicable registry or system.

5. Low-carbon coffee and insetting

The low-carbon coffee pathway through insetting depends on a defined protocol, organizational and time boundaries, a baseline, suitable data and evidence, eligibility criteria, governance of claims, and agreements among supply chain participants.

This pathway does not automatically amount to the issuance of a carbon credit. The same result should not be attributed simultaneously to a credit and to insetting for the same period when this would create double claiming or double allocation.

6. Limits of the evidence

Each item of evidence supports only the conclusions consistent with its method. NDVI can help monitor vegetation vigor and change over time. It does not measure soil organic carbon and does not replace physical sampling, laboratory analysis, or other procedures required by the chosen methodology.

Calculated results depend on the quality, source, timeliness, and completeness of the data provided, the factors used, the boundaries defined, and the version of the method. These elements and their uncertainties must remain part of the assessment.

7. Permitted use of the website

You may access and share the website address for informational purposes. You may not:

  • interfere with the operation or security of the website;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data;
  • copy, adapt, or commercially exploit text, interfaces, trademarks, images, videos, or materials without authorization;
  • extract, reconstruct, infer, or reproduce technology, logic, methods, models, parameters, or internal materials from the public content;
  • present demonstrative content as actual, certified, or issued results;
  • use the Cerrado Coffee Carbon name or identity in a way that suggests a partnership, approval, or certification that does not exist.

8. Intellectual property and materials

Rights in trademarks, visual identity, text, interfaces, structures, videos, and other materials belong to their respective owners. Formulas, parameters, processing rules, architecture, data models, internal controls, engineering documentation, validation strategies, and unpublished technical materials are confidential.

Nothing in these Terms grants a license to use any trademark, technology, method, or software or to commercially exploit any material without express written authorization. Photographs identified as illustrative do not necessarily document a program operation, property, or participant. Panels identified as demonstrative use fictional data.

9. Links, email, and third-party services

When you use an email link or access an external service, you enter an environment operated by the relevant provider and subject to its terms and privacy practices. Cerrado Coffee Carbon does not control the availability or content of external services.

10. Availability and updates

12. Privacy

13. Changes to the Terms

These Terms may be updated to reflect changes to the website, product, or legislation. The current version and its date will remain available on this page.

14. Applicable law and contact
