1. Identity and current stage

Cerrado Coffee Carbon is a technology program developed and currently led by Murilo Marques Ferreira da Silva, an Agronomic Engineering student at Instituto Master de Ensino Presidente Antônio Carlos, IMEPAC, based in Araguari, Minas Gerais, Brazil.

The academic identification describes the developer's educational background. It does not represent validation, approval, sponsorship, or institutional endorsement of the program by IMEPAC.

The platform is being finalized for implementation of a controlled pilot. The pilot's start, scope, and outcomes will depend on the agreed arrangements, cooperative operations, available real-world data, and applicable external requirements.

2. Public commitments

Development considers scientific literature and institutional guidance related to the quantification and management of greenhouse-gas information in agriculture.

Cerrado Coffee Carbon makes four public commitments: identify the demonstrative nature of the interfaces; communicate technical limits; distinguish evidence organization from certification; and never present estimates as issued credits or guaranteed commercial outcomes.

What this publication establishes

This dossier states the program's public purpose, stage, and limits. It does not constitute external agronomic validation, audit, certification, or approval of a carbon-credit methodology.

3. Public scope of the platform

The platform is designed to help cooperatives organize producers, farms, plots, harvests, field information, inventories, responsibilities, documents, monitoring, agreements, and evidence.

This organization is intended to allow authorized information to be reviewed in the context of its source, period, and available documentation. This text describes the program's purpose, not its internal processing logic.

4. Limits of the information presented

Any result depends on the quality, completeness, representativeness, and currency of the data used, as well as the limits of the applicable approach. Organized data or estimates do not, by themselves, establish environmental performance, eligibility, additionality, permanence, or marketability.

No interface, estimate, inventory, or demonstration represents an issued credit, promise of issuance, guarantee of certification, completed transaction, or future price.

5. NDVI and soil carbon

NDVI can support the monitoring of vegetation vigor and continuity. It does not measure or establish soil organic carbon.

Claims about soil carbon require field data and evidence, including sampling and analytical procedures consistent with the purpose and approach adopted.

6. Carbon credits and low-carbon coffee

Carbon-credit projects and low-carbon coffee initiatives through insetting are distinct pathways. Each pathway has its own criteria, boundaries, responsibilities, evidence, and recognition mechanisms.

Insetting does not automatically amount to an issued carbon credit. The use of the same environmental information in more than one pathway requires governance to prevent double counting, double issuance, or double claiming.

7. Independent processes and real-world data

Cerrado Coffee Carbon does not certify or issue carbon credits. Where applicable, validation, verification, certification, and issuance depend on real-world data, relevant criteria and procedures, independent assessment by a Validation and Verification Body, or VVB, and external registries or systems.

The platform may support the preparation and organization of information, but it does not replace the decisions or responsibilities of the independent entities involved.

8. Transparency and technology protection

This is the public, sanitized version of the dossier. It provides enough information to understand the proposal and its limits without disclosing elements that could enable reproduction of the technology.

Formulas, parameters, processing rules, architecture, data models, internal controls, engineering documentation, validation strategies, and unpublished technical materials are confidential. Access to additional information may be granted only when necessary, in a controlled environment and subject to appropriate confidentiality conditions.

Minimum disclosure

No content on this page grants a license, reproduction authorization, or access to Cerrado Coffee Carbon's internal methods, software, or technical assets.

9. Photographs, interfaces, and numbers

Photographs in the presentation are illustrative. The panels and numbers shown are demonstrative, use fictional data, and do not represent final interfaces, real farms, certified results, or commercial offers.
